Our family really enjoyed our trip with O’side Whales! Captain Dani was fantastic! The smaller boat made for a more personal experience, and we loved being able to lay on the front of the boat and watch the dolphins swim and jump. 10/10 would recommend, we will definitely be back!

Best whale watching tour we've been on. Dani knows the area and his love of the ocean and the animals shows. We found several large pods of dolphins and two humpbacks. We followed the humpbacks for an hour and got some great photos and videos. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Dani is a brilliant host, very knowledgeable, made us feel safe and welcome and best of all, he found Whales and Dolphins. His rib has capacity for 6 so it’s an intimate experience which feels very personal and you can lay looking over the bow and watch the dolphins play. Highly recommended

We went out with Danni and O Side Whales and it was great. With the smaller zodiac boat you get a real personal experience and it was second to none. We saw numerous pods of dolphins that raced the boat and meant we could get great photos and videos. Just as we were about to head back to harbour we came across 3 or 4 minky whales which was amazing. If you are thinking about doing a whale watching trips don't hesitate to was everything we expected and more.

We had an INCREDIBLE time with Captain Dani at O'side Whales! We had a bit of a grey day with some strong winds and this boat, under the guidance of our skilled Captain, rode surprisingly smoothly and we didn't get wet - seeing the pictures and our weather conditions, I had assumed we'd be in for lots of bumps and sea spray. But no! And after our fast ride out to the drop off, we found an incredible pod of hundreds of dolphins, a big group of playful sea lions, and even 2 minke whales!! Once we were close to the pod, we could even lay down at the front of the boat and see the dolphins playing, swimming, and jumping practically close enough to touch (I promise I didn't touch one, no matter how tempting!). Our Captain was super knowledgeable about the local marine life and told us he hasn't been out yet where his boat hasn't spotted at least a pod of dolphins. Truly a great experience and I wholeheartedly recommend enjoying a tour with O'side Whales! Quick tips: Meeting spot is near the old Jolly Rodger; there are restrooms available prior to departure; make sure to bring your water, sunscreen, and sense of adventure for this 2.5 hour whale watching tour

An amazing experience with fantastic sightings of whales and dolphins! We could not recommend O’side Whales enough, we had a wonderful time with Captain Dani who curated a great experience for us on the boat trip. Highly highly recommend for a great time aboard!

If I could leave ten stars I would. It was a fantastic! Captain Dani called to let us know we may not see a lot due to weather and offered to reschedule but we were leaving the state the next day so we opted to go anyway and everything was phenomenal!!! He was knowledgeable of his vessel and navigated the water with ease. He knew exactly where we needed to go and it all paid off! We signed up for whales but got to see several pods of dolphins, sea lions, birds, and a Minke whale!!! It was surreal. The "papaya" was a small but safe and fast ship that allowed us a real up close and personal view. No rushing from one side of a large boat to the other and trying to see past a bunch of other people, just an intimate experience with ocean life. I was terrified to go out on the ocean but this is an experience I'll never forget and for the price--I'll definitely do it, again! 😁
