Trying to describe in words the experience I had yesterday on an O’Side Whales tour seems inadequate. Imagine being in the middle of a stampede of dolphins that are as close as your fingertips to as far as the horizon. The sound, the motion, the beauty were astounding. Then we found the whales — two different types! The sound of them surfacing and blowing out air was indelible. Thank you, O’Side Whales, for a once in a lifetime memory. O’Side Whales gave my family an unforgettable day on the water. We saw multiple species of whales and 1000+ dolphins multiple times throughout the smooth, scenic, and truly special trip. I have been on 3 whale watching trips. They were nowhere near the quality of this one at O’side Whales. It  took my breath away because unlike the big boats where you are too far away from these amazing animals, O’side gave an intimate, upclose experience; seeing, smelling, hearing, feeling the spray of the whale’s blow, plus seeing THOUSANDS of dolphins, and the captain could quickly move his boat to be safely close. On October 23 went on a whale watching tour with a friend. I can honestly say that from the very beginning Dani the captain was absolutely wonderful. He was patient, kind and thoughtful. It took a little while before we ended up finding some whales, but before the journey was over, we saw all different kinds of marine life. It was a great experience and when I am back in Oceanside, I will definitely book with him again. I love the name of the boat Papaya! Me and my 2 friends booked a 90 min dolphin express and we had an amazing time! Danny the owner was our guide, he is super sweet and gave us really good information on all the animals we would see. We had an amazing experience with the Dolphin and Whale Watching in Oceanside! The impressions were just incredible – we saw so many dolphins, which was absolutely unforgettable. Our captain Dani put in a lot of effort, was super friendly and communicative, and really tried to find a whale for us, even though we didn’t spot one this time (that’s just nature). It didn’t take away from the experience at all – we truly enjoyed it and can highly recommend this tour!

Hands down the best experience we had on vacation. He was super kind, and extremely knowledgeable. The beauty of the ocean and the animals literally made me cry. Highly highly recommend O'side Whales! If I'm ever back in oceanside, I will absolutely be doing it again.
